Butler's Orchard Fall Festival

The boys and I had a great day at Butler's Orchard Fall Festival.  It is like a kid heaven.  Chase has asked me like 10 times today if we can go back to the festival.  We were sad that Cole couldn't come with us, but he was working.  But there are plenty more fall festivals to go check out that are not too far from us.  We met up with some of our friends which made it fun, and I had some delicious carmel apples.  Heavenly.
Of course, my boys heading to the bounce house first.
Playing on the train and pirate ship.

Tractor time in the corn kernals.
Chase and his buddy Spencer racing around the track.  Spencer his our neighbor and Chase and him are already good buds.

Cute Bryce

Bryce and Ian and below is Chase and Jacob.  They are brothers and are friends of our from Japan.  My friend Suzy has been super helpful and Chase and Jacob go to the same preschool.

Our neighbors, Lindsey, Dave, and Spencer with a Dinosaur painted on his face.  Just starting out on the hay ride.

Spencer and Chase racing their ducks

Bryce loves tunnels, and loves to say "tunnel"
This was a maze just for kids.  Both boys loved this.
My cute ghosts.
One tired pumkin.

Digging for Potatoes

Before hitting the Fall Festival, I thought it would be fun to go dig for some potatoes.  Dirt, shoveling, treasure hunt, my boys love that stuff.  It turned out to be a fun little activity. Bryce practiced saying the word "potato", he has the cutest little voice right now.  Chase had fun digging for the potatoes and I think he used 10 different shovels before he decided on one he liked.  Think I will be making some potato soup with the potatoes we collected.

Iphone Photo Fun and the National Zoo

Cole and I are loving our new Iphones, glad Cole went and stood in line at Apple the day they came out so we could upgrade our little go phones.  Cole had fun trying out the camera a week ago Friday.
That night we hit up Rockville Town Square for some dinner and rocking out to a free band.  Cole and I are excited to check out all the really good restaurants at the square and it only 5 minutes from our place.
Chase and Cole sending me a photo while reading books.
The next day we decided to take the d.c metro down to the National Zoo.  I have to admit that we have been a little spoiled since we have been to some of the coolest Zoos in the world, Thailand, Singapore, China.  So we were not too impressed with the National Zoo.  But it was a beautiful day, and a beautiful Zoo, and it is free.  For some reason we kept seeing empty cages on the outdoor exhibits.  But the Tigers did not disappoint and the inside exhibits were all really good.

Naval Academy Annapolis

Since we were spending a day in Annapolis, we decided to check out the Naval Academy.  It is a really beautiful campus.  Beautiful grounds, boats, the harbor, it makes for a great place to study.  Cole was slightly jealous of the campus.
Chase in front of John Paul Jones crypt.  It was very cool crypt, don't normally think crypts are cool.  But we couldn't observe for long, because Bryce was loving hearing his voice echo so he was just yelling the whole time we were walking around inside this place.  We had to get out fast since you are suppose to be reverent.

My boys in front of the Naval Academy Chapel.
Chase and Bryce practicing their "Booms".
 Taking a water break.
There was a wedding going on that day.  Love the naval uniforms.  It was fun seeing all the midshipmen in their uniforms.  Top Gun is still one of my favorite movies.

Bryce practicing his march.
