Kimono Time

I can't believe it is our last night.  3 years have gone by so quickly.  We have made so many good memories while living here in Misawa, it is going to be hard to leave this place.  I have grown to love Japan and the people here.  Hopefully, someday we will be able to come back and show Bryce where he was born and Chase where he grew up for 3 years of his life.  On my last night here, I thought I better start to write down some of my favorite memories from here so I don't forget them.
-Japanese people(respectful, so nice and sweet, love kids, clean, organized, honorable)
-Japanese landscape(mountains, lakes, rice fields, trees, Japanese style parks)
-Traveling to Asia(thailand, china, singapore) and seeing Japan(sapporo, kyoto, sendai, and tokyo)
-Heated toilet seats and their shower rooms
-Fresh, cheap salmon and scallops
-Eating at Pepper Lunch and our Curry and Nan Restaurant
-Snow and snowboarding
-Getting to dress up in Kimonos
-Festivals

Bryce is 18 Months Old

Our Mamasan(Mako-san)

Had to say good bye to Mako-san a couple of days ago, we both cried.  I am so going to miss her.  She did a great job cleaning for me, and she loved my boys, and my boys loved her.  Chase has really become a good helper around the house, and really had fun helping Mako clean out the fridge on her last day.  And Bryce would just follow Mako around waiting for his hug and kiss from her.  Don't you love my temporary furniture in the background, but it is better than sitting on the floor.

Chase's Last Day of Flag Football

Chase improved so much from his first day of Smart Start Football.  Cole did a great job working with Chase, since he worked with Chase at all of his practices.  Chase got really good at throwing, kicking, and catching the ball(when he focuses).  Cole learned you have to play games with Chase to keep his attention, but it seems to work.  Example, "Chase if you catch this ball, then you can throw it and knock me over"(worked great every time).

Chase's Last Day of Ms. Yuri Preschool

Chase's best bud, Becca Brough.  Chase loved picking Becca up in the morning, going to preschool, and then riding home with her in the afternoon.

Chase practiced writing his name all year.
 Singing songs

Hoola hoop race, and Chase's other favorite buds were Caid and Chance.
Becca was pulling Chase, she was determined to win.  And they did.
This was too funny to watch the tug of war.

This was the rubber chicken relay.
 Racing Mrs. Yuri.
So sweet.  Becca gave Chase a kiss right before she left Misawa.  Chase's first kiss, don't think he knew what hit him:)
Chase getting his preschool award for being a great listener and following directions from Mrs. Yuri.

Misawa Home Pics

So after we got home from Singapore, we had less than a week to get organized for the movers.  It was hectic there for a few days.  But I realized I better get some indoor pictures of my house taken since I hadn't ever taken any in the last two year.  The first few were taken at Christmas time when I had started to shoot photos, and then must have gotten side tracked.
Kids Play Room that turned into the Guest Room when Grandparents came to visit.

Will have to get a better picture later, but love my Tansu.  It was my last big Japanese purchase and I love it.
