Bryce and the Cherry Blossoms

While Chase was at school, my mom and I took Bryce out for a few snapshots.  Bryce is 16 1/2 Months and is pretty stinkin cute and a little spitfire right now.  Don't think he ever stops jabbering or yelling for something once he wakes up, except maybe when you are reading him a book.  Still his favorite although playing outside might be his new favorite thing these days.  He thinks he is so big, and it cracks me up that he plays with Chase's super heros.  Bryce is full of energy right now, so he should be a lot of fun on our upcoming flights!!!

Celebrating Grammy's B-Day

We had a great time while Grammy was here.  So glad she was able to help me out with the boys while Cole was gone and help me start organizing for the move.  And I was so glad the Cherry blossoms bloomed while she was here.  Happy Birthday Grammy.  Thanks for all your help!

Cherry Blossoms at Swan Park

We were so excited to finally see a swan at Swan Park.  I love swans.  They look so majestic floating across the water.

Bryce was beside himself.  He was seeing ducks for the first time since he learned the word.  He was going nuts and yelling "duck, duck, duck!"

Chase's favorite slide at Swan Park.  I love how the Japanese build their slides into the ground, so much safer.

Bryce's "Duck" sign.
This night was perfect for cherry blossom viewing.  My mom and I had no idea the blossoms were going to look like this or we would have brought my nice camera and dressed up.  But we got a few fun pics that night and the weather was so nice for once.

Love this photo of my Captain America.  My boys favorite toys right now are their super heros(Hulk, Captain America, Iron Man, and Spiderman).  Chase loves to watch a Youtube video that he calls Ironman, Spiderman, with the robots(thank you Cole).

Sea of Pink.  Just can't get enough of the Cherry Blossoms.  They are so beautiful.

Chase and Grammy making Cupcakes

Chase loved spending time with his Grammy.  Especially when cupcakes are involved.  I heard a lot of giggling from the other room that night.  And I think there were a lot of taste tests involved.  Chase seems so grown up to me lately.  Chase loves learning and asking questions about everything right now.  And his favorite color right now is dark blue.  His favorite fruit is strawberry and favorite vegetable is broccoli.

Feeding the Koi at Komaki

We think it is suppose to be a fish, but not sure.

Chase loves to ring the temple bell.
These Koi are ferocious.  Bryce and I got soaked from all the splashing when Chase was feeding them.

Train Park

Chase getting good at doing the rope swing by himself.  The beautiful Cherry Blossoms were just starting to bloom.  The train park is just right outside Misawa Air Base gate.  There is a really old Big Black train that Chase loves and always points out everytime we drive by.  So Chase loved finally being able to go see the train now that the weather finally started to warm up.  We had a really long winter this last year.

Ichou Park(Statue of Liberty Park)

Ichou Park or Liberty Park is only about 20 minutes from our place.  But this was the first time we actually visited the park.  It is really a pretty park with ponds and a little playground and roller slide.  They built a mini statue of liberty because this park is at the same latitude as the real statue of liberty in New York City.  So random. The Cherry blossoms were about a week away when we came, but I guess this park is really pretty with the blossoms.

So this picture is when Bryce said"Cheese" for the first time really loud.  His second official word, "Duck is the first".  It was too cute.  Chase and I were saying Cheese and then Bryce voiced in.

Bryce does this sign and says "Duck".  I think we might have said something about a duck so he followed.  We are not sure why he puts his finger in the air, but he does this everytime he says Duck.  He is obsessed with a you tube song called "The Duck Song"(thanks Cole).  He just loves it and that is why his first word, other than Ma, is Duck.
Something about picking up rocks and throwing them into the water is so much fun.  We do this everyday on our road, but the boys throw the rocks into the drain.

 Roller slide time.
 Chase catching up to Grammy.
Chase's first time on a rope swing.
