Loving on Avery/Pony(Bryce still calls her Pony)

Bryce has had a bad cold ever since Pony/Avery arrived home.  It has been so sad, because he has just wanted to be so close to her.  Avery is one week old here, and Bryce was thrilled to finally get to hold her and love on her.

Big Brothers turn to love on Avery before bedtime.  Chase is so sweet with her.

Sweet Avery's First Outing

Love this photo of my sweetheart.  Two days after we were home, I had to take Avery back to the hospital for a check up.  So had to take a couple shots of her with her cute outfit on.

Big Smile.
Back in her car seat.
Sleeping in her swing. And yes I make all my babies wear mits so they don't scratch their face.
Avery sleeps in the mamaroo really well, haven't moved her over to her crib yet.  A friend brought over a present and I didn't realize this till I woke her up, but Bryce had taken up her cards and placed them next to her while she was sleeping.  He is so thoughtful.  Bryce cracks me up.

Avery's Welcome Home

Thank you Grammy, Tig, Chase, and Bryce for welcoming Avery to her new home. She had a warm welcome, it was good to be home.  I cried from no sleep and pure joy to be home with my whole family.

Chase and Bryce seeing their sister for the first time.  The boys have been over the top cute waiting for their sister to arrive.  They have asked so many questions about what Avery can and can not do.  They just love her and tell everyone how cute she is.  They like to read her books and Bryce likes to draw her pictures.  She is a lucky girl to have such sweet brothers.

Avery looking up at her Grammy for the first time.
The boys picked out a ice cream cake for Avery's arrival.  They helped her blow out her 0 candle.  They were thrilled to celebrate her Birthday.

My little Angel

My Precious Little Angel, Avery.  She is a doll baby.  Doesn't get much better than this.

She is making her mark with the rest of the babies at St. Elizabeth's hospital in Belliville, Illinois.
She was not thrilled about this.

Mom and Dad's thumbprint next to her foot, she is blessed to have Daddy's feet and toes:)  We will have to polish those up when she gets older.
24 hours later after Avery was born, we were ready to bust out of the hospital.  We were done being pricked and poked.
Like her brothers, Avery is very expressive.  Not sure she liked being put in the carseat at first, but she does fine now.  Here she is sticking out her tongue at us.
Then we got an "awe".
Then we got a "waaaaa".

Introducing Avery Mae Tayor - Born on March 24, 2014

Welcome Avery Mae Taylor, Cole and I are so tickled that you finally decided to join our family. (Sorry you decided to come during dad's Mustache March thrill). We love you so much already, and so do your brothers.  Avery was born on March 24th, 2014(5 days after her date) and was my easiest labor to date.  With the epidural in, I pushed twice and she slowly popped out.  She weighed 8 lbs. 2 oz. and was 20.5 cm long.  She beat her brothers in weight, but luckily she has a petite girl head, so she is just perfect.  We are so excited to have a girl in the family and I am loving all the girlie pink!!
Look at those popeye arms.  This is my girl.  After they delivered her, they immediately put her up on my skin before cleaning and weighing her.
She is looking up at me for the first time.  Love you.
She is already a pro at nursing.  She is a lot softer than my boys.
Love this girl.
Daddy's girl, and love the tattoo of her foot on Cole's arm.
On the scale.  8 lbs. 2 oz.
All clean after the nurse gives her her first sponge bath.
Dr. Kirsten Vitrikas was my o.b, she is also Cole's boss.  I enjoyed having her as my o.b.  Here I am relaxed with the epidural in me, right before I pushed Avery out.  Absolutely could feel nothing in my legs.  But could still feel Avery kicking her heels at the top of my belly, even as she was pushing out. She was my wiggliest baby while in my belly.

Little Miss Pony Taking Her Precious Time to Arrive

Thought she was going to come for sure on St. Patty's Day, but no.  Then thought she was going to come for sure on our beautiful first day of Spring(a day past her due date), but no.  She is going to make us come and get her I think, she must be a girl.  She is taking her precious time:)
