Chase started Kindergarden!! (August 14, 2013)

Chase's Official Kindergarten Picture.  So handsome.  Can't believe it.  Chase adjusted right into Kindergarten.  Kindergarten here started August 14th while we were still living on base and is a full day from 9 to 3:30.  He lucked out with a awesome teacher, Mrs. Frisch.  She is excellent and he is so far having a great year.  He is starting to read and write really good now.  His teacher told me that she sits Chase next to kids that are struggling because Chase will always help them out.  So proud of him.

Watching St. Louis Rams Scrimmage at Scott Air Force Base

While living on temporary housing on base(over a month long), the St. Louis Rams did a scrimmage at the base one night for anyone who wanted to attend.  So Chase and Cole headed over to check it out. Chase got a free hat, football, and some autographs.  Pretty cool.

1st Visit to the St. Louis Zoo (Great Zoo) - End of Summer

 They have a super cool/cold penguin/puffin house.

They Orangutans and Gorillas are great here.

Getting ready to watch the Seal show.

Grant's Farm - St. Louis

Budweiser horses.  St. Louis is home of the Budweiser factory and a lot of these beautiful horses.  Did not know that till we got here.

The boys loved feeding milk bottles to the goats.  It was too funny.

Happy 5th Birthday to my sweet Chase. 8/8/13

Chase wanted a Star Wars Birthday.  So that is what he got.  We have moved during his birthday the last 3 years.  Luckily, he is doesn't care, and was just excited for a family party since we hadn't met anyone yet in Illinois.  We did find a bounce house place and ordered Chinese food for dinner, both at his request.  We just love this cool dude.  He seems to be getting older by the minute and is really growing up fast now.  He loves sports, food, friends, and fun(sound like someone), and has a hard time playing independently.  And he is super smart.  Yep, he is the spitting image of his dad.  And my favorite moment of the day is when I lay by him at night and he hugs and kisses me and tells me how much he loves me.  He is so sweet.  And I just love all of his energy and I am so glad he is a good kid.

Cole took Chase to his first ball game.  Go Cards.  Chase loved it and the food and the metro ride.

Cole and his fellow Air Force Sports Med Graduates with Dr. Bueller(head of program) - Way to go Sweetie. What a great year. And the Taylors are headed west to good old St. Louis Area.

Checking out VA Great Falls Park

We had a great day checking out the Falls.  So beautiful and so humid.  Chase loved all the rock climbing.

Chase and his dad discovered a tadpole pool inside the rocks that Chase loved.
