Go Ravens!! Superbowl Champions 2013

Over the last couple of months Chase has fallen in love with the Ravens.  So it was really fun that they ended up going to the Superbowl.  He tells everyone he is a Raven fan and he loves to point out whenever he sees a Raven symbol on a car or in a store.  So of course I had to get the boys shirts for the Super Bowl Game.  Chase picked out his outfit that came with the helmet.  The boys are obsessed with it.  So they take turns wearing it, playing catch with it on, and running around the house. They look hilarious.
Stiff arm.  Practicing football in the basement before the game. Future Flacco.

My little Raven fan.  Proud to show his dad his outfit.

Watching the game.  Chase had me cracking up because he stayed in this pose for a really long time.

Snow(and its not much)

Well, it feels weird not seeing a lot of snow.  So far this is all we have had, but the boys were excited to see it.  It was Bryce's turn to be sick that week so he only got to be in it for 5 minutes.  The Taylor household has had a rough round of the week long flu, we have each taken a turn and I am just getting over mine.  Hopefully Cole escapes this one, we will see this week.

Bringing the snow indoors to make snowman and play with dye and droppers.  Chase loves Science right now.  He loves learning about all kinds of animals, dinosaurs, planets, etc.  I just went to his parent teacher conference and his teacher said he is doing great in everything but he loves Science.  I need to come up with some more fun little science projects for him.

This August, The Taylors are moving to St. Louis

So it is official.  We will be heading to Scott AFB, this August.  So we will be living about 25 minutes from St. Louis in Illinois.  Cole will be working as a Staff doctor, teaching family medicine residents, as well as working in Sports Medicine Clinic.  We are excited to see what St. Louis has to offer and we are glad we will get to stay put for at least 4 years.  I am going to try to enjoy my last 6 months here in Maryland as much as I can before the thoughts of the dreaded move.  Although it will be a lot easier move compared to our last move from Japan.  We have heard lots of good things about the area and Cole is excited about the work.  So we will see.  Looks like fun.  Let the house hunting begin.

Baltimore Aquarium/New Years Eve

Fun day at the Baltimore Aquarium with Grammy and Grampy.

Photo above and below taken by Chase.  He loves to take photos.  1 in 20 are a keeper.

We found a Kona Grill in Baltimore, short walk from the aquarium.  This was one of my favorite restaurants in Omaha.  They have the best Guacamole Egg Rolls.
Ellen's Cow shooter war.  The boys had a blast.  Thanks for the fun game Grammy.  "Get Dad."

Ice Skating Date Night

Cole and I had a fun date night ice skating at the Rockville Town Square, grabbing some Thai food, and seeing Les Miserables.  We couldn't even remember the last time we ice skated, but we weren't too bad.  We were proud that we were not part of the rail hugger group.  Thanks mom and dad for watching the kids so we could go out.
