Finding The Perfect Taylor Christmas Tree

Grandpa Gary, Cole, and Chase standing in front of our soon to be Christmas tree, thanks Dawn for taking photos that day.  Bryce and I decided to stay at home since it was like 40 degrees out.  But they did find a perfect tree, it is just beautiful.  Our best to date.  I heard it was pretty much a Griswald adventure choosing and chopping down the tree.  But they did good and had a lot fun in the process.

Don't scratch my car boys.  It was scratch free, I think, but they managed to to tie the doors shut, so Chase and Grandma had to crawl through the back.  Priceless:)

Thanksgiving

Not a whole lot of picture taking on Thanksgiving, just a lot of cooking.  But it turned out great and we were so excited to have Grandma(Gram Gram as Bryce says) and Grandpa with us.  Here is a couple shots of the table before we stuffed ourselves.  Everyone helped out to make it a great meal and great Thanksgiving.  I am so thankful for a wonderful family and good food on the table.

Taking Grandma and Grandpa to Annapolis

Grandma with Chase and Bryce checking out the cannons at the Naval Academy.  I stayed home that day to get a head start on the Thanksgiving dinner.  But Cole and everyone said it was another beautiful day in Annapolis checking out the Naval Academy and the cute town.  Followed by a great lunch at a little restaurant called Chick and Ruth's Delly.

White Flint Mall Train

My boys love to ride the train inside the mall.  The Tuesday before Thanksgiving we had to hit up Williams Sonoma at White Flint Mall, and of course we had to ride the train.

Saturday Park Playdate before Thanksgiving

The Saturday before Thanksgiving we found a fun little park close to Chase's school(Gaithersburg Park) that we decided to check out.  Love the above picture with my boys all headed down the slide.
Their is usually football involved with Chase everytime we go to the park.  He loves to play hike with his Dad.  And he is getting good with his spin moves.  He also loves to create obstacle courses.  Bryce and Cole are doing the obstacle course we made up that day.  Chase is always the fastest.

Little pond next to the park.
After the park we headed to Butler's Orchard to get some apples.  They were doing a little Thanksgiving celebration that day, so we got some yummy free apple cider, Cole cooked up some dogs for the boys, and we got a free tractor ride out into their Christmas trees.  Bryce is looking for our tree.    This is where Cole and Chase come back with Grandma and Grandpa to find our perfect Griswald tree.

Leaves and the Castle Park

We had lots of leaves to rake up.  The city comes and cleans up all the leaves in the street twice each fall, so we just have to rake all the leaves to the curb.  Chase had fun jumping into the big pile.  It was funny to see the mounds of leaves up and down our street.
The boys and I found a fun castle park.  It is called Adventure Playground and the boys had a good time.  And we enjoyed a warmer weather day after the last couple weeks of coldness with Hurricane Sandy and cold front.

This was a cool swing, but the boys didn't think so.

Trick or Treat

Love my trick or treaters.  Chase was so excited that I was Captain America.  He thought it was so cool.  Chase asked his dad what he was going to be.  Cole said he wasn't dressing up.  Chase then said, "Dad, everyone needs a costume.  You can be a doctor."  Bryce was the cutest trick or treater.  He would say, "tweek treat" and "tank you" at everyone's door.  He melted everyone's heart.  It was so sweet.  And Chase loved giving candy to the trick or treaters that came to our door.  We didn't get very many, but he loved it.

Pumpkins and Skeletons

Chase had fun scooping out the pulp.  But did not want it to touch his hand at all.  He picked out his own pumpkin design and wanted a scary face.  I think he picked a good one.
My cute cute boys in their skeleton jammies and with their pumpkins.

 Ooooooh!!
My proud boys and their punkins.

 Tig's Tigger.
Chase's Scary Face.  And mine is not good enough for its own photo.

Spider Web obstacle Course.
Bryce doing a really good job painting his pumpkin.  Best way to paint, topless and in the basement.

October Iphone Photos

Sometimes I find my boys in this position in the mornings.  Reading books together.  Love these little moments.  Bryce is saying "I Know" as he taps his cheeks.  Don't know where he picked that up from.

Walking down to Woodley Gardens Park on a Chilly Fall day.
 My boys love this park.

Below the park is a walking path with a stream and bridges that my boys loved to race across.

We randomly had a 70 degrees weather day.  It was so nice.  After Chase's soccer class, we walked down to our neighborhood italian ice and gelato shop.  They have the best lemon italian ice.  And then hit the park for some fun.

Loving all the fall colors in the background.  Our neighborhood is gorgeous right now with all the trees turning colors.
