Summer Fun

Cottonwood Rec Indoor Pool.  The kids loved this little slide.

Chase still loves the Kangaroo Zoo.
 Bryce learning to jump.

Chase is such the athlete.  He loves any sport, but we played a lot of golf on my parents lawn and tennis on their neighbors court.  He is a natural.

24th of July - Steel Day Parade and Carnival

I ran my first 5K race with my sis.  It was actually a lot of fun.  Wish I had trained before hand, and I wasn't quite used to the altitude and Utah heat.  But I ran almost the whole way so I was proud of myself.
American Fork parade time.  Good memories at this parade, but the camel and garbage truck topped it off for us.

Carnival Time at Pioneer Steel Days.

 Chase beat Grammy.

 See ya
My kids would be great in a parade, because they love to wave on the rides.  Bryce is the all time flirt right now.  He waves at everyone and tells them "hi" or "bye".  He is adorable right now.

Mt. Timpanogos Temple

It was a special night.  My dad watched the boys while my mom and my sisters and I were able to all attend the temple for the first time.  And the Mount Timpanogos temple is really special to us since that was our Nana's favorite temple.  We finished off the night with dinner at Thanksgiving Point.  Just us girls.

Grampy and the boys.  We spent a lot of time outside.  Pool time, walks to feed the horses, and playing tennis.
Cool Aunt Kara and my boys.  Aunt Kara totally spoils my boys with gifts.  She is a great Aunt and would come over at night to help with the bath time which is always a blessing.  We love the Aunt Kara.

Hogle Zoo

We had a great time at Hogle Zoo with our friends, Shalee, Bronx, and Benson.  Chase and Bronx were instant buddies.  And it was fun to see the new Polar Bear exhibit. And always fun to catch up with my good friend, Shalee.
Bryce, Bronx, and Chase, and a random kid.
Bronx, Benson, and Shalee.  Too Cute.
My boys love carousels.  I think they rode about 10 different carousels this summer.

This gorilla looks a little wrong.
 Train Time
Cute Benson and Bryce together.

1st Night in Utah - Cousin Jinbei Time

So excited to see our favorite cousin, CoCo.  Chase and Bryce both loved the CoCo bean. They were all so cute in their jinbei(japanese summer festival outfits for kids).

Bryce is really into trains right now in the Japanese squat.

Last Night in Paradise

Hawaii(we went the begininning of July-sorry I am way behind on my posts) was a great way to destress after our month(June) of trying to get everything in order for our upcoming move from Japan to D.C.  And it was a great way to break up the flight back to the states.  We ended up doing two red eye flights, each about 6 hours.  We definitely enjoyed our lazy Hawaii days, good food(mostly fish and fresh fruit), and being with Grandma and Grandpa.  I wanted to get one last photo shoot on our last night with the Sunset.  Then we finished off the night with some great fish tacos.  It was a great last night.

Good Bye Beautiful Sunset.
